What is Lead-to-Ledger?

Lead-to-Ledger describes the process of integrating platforms from end-to-end, from CRM to Finance, creating a seamless infrastructure that ensures traceability from the lead, through to invoice to the eventual disposition of cash without manual intervention.

Lead-to-Ledger will enable your business to have a full lead process in which you can have confidence and allow you to extract insights for your business to help in marketing and improve your sales process, making your business more productive and efficient.

Why should I use Lead-to-Ledger?

With lead-to-ledger, you can create a seamless link between your in-house platforms to create a full 360 view of the business. For example, you may have multiple best-in-class systems such as your CRM platform which receives leads and orders from an ecommerce platform/website and also deals with the creation of opportunities.  With lead-to-ledger, this could then be linked to your Cloud Accounting system, which would deal with your contract management and then the creation of your automated invoices.  With integration of both systems, your organisation would be equipped with a powerful infrastructure that offers extraordinary insights into business operations and lead information to improve your business to become more efficient.

How can this be done?

With a lead-to-ledger model, ION builds a custom integration between your chosen in-house solution and your new platform technology to create a powerful infrastructure. ION works to identify where efficiencies can be made in your organisation and work to create custom APIs that enable you to link your chosen platforms seamlessly. The implementation process will be seamless and efficient allowing you to quickly reap the rewards of the lead-to-ledger process.

Outcome

Lead-to-ledger gives you a combined solution which will allow you to gain control over your business operations. Having your CRM as the one source of truth for all account changes allows for a full audit trail of who has changed what information and when.  Furthermore, having one source of truth will remove the duplication of effort and fully automate order creation, contract management and invoice generation.

Lead-to-ledger also improves relationships across Finance and Commercial teams. With lead-to-ledger, your sales team will become empowered and armed with more relevant information to make better decisions when speaking to customers.
