Introduction

Statistical accounts are non-monetary accounts that can be used to maintain statistical information for a variety of metrics such as maintaining the employee headcount by the department within a business.

Typical Problems

Older accounting systems do not cater for statistical reporting, which leads to that data being recording in spreadsheets off-system.

Where users have been able to create reports, they are a repurposed field on an account, which does not allow for value reporting.

Solutions

Cloud accounting solutions allow you to create GL Codes which can be used only for statistical information. This will allow you to post values to these codes, which can be used for any key KPI information and reporting.

Benefits/ROI

Real-time detailed statistical and financial reporting at the touch of a button ensures minimal time preparing reports which are configurable to meet the needs of the business.
